Directions: Find reputable news articles using the internet relating to topics discussed throughout the course of the semester. You need to find an article for two of the different countries we discussed this year (Nigeria, Mexico, Great Britain, Russia, China, Iran) and discuss how the article relates to a topic we discussed in class. Make one reply for each country, and post the link to the article as part of your post.
Guiding Thought Question: Why would it be helpful to have a government official that is also a religious leader? Why might be the disadvantage of having a religious official being influential in the government?
Today's Learning Objective: Students will examine the political structure of Iran and be able to explain the structure of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches be creating an informative government grid.
