Guiding Thought Question: Based on your understanding of the topic, come up with a list of 4-5 things that make up a society. Why are knowing about these things helpful when trying to better understand a society?

Today's Learning Objective:
Students will examine the sociological way of thinking and the means by which sociologists study the world. Students will take notes and then listen to a ted talk about the way in which sociologists try to study human society.
