Guiding Thought Question: How do you think the importance of different groups changes throughout the course of your life? 

Today's Learning Objective: Students will examine different groups and how membership and value to an individual changes over time.

as you grow you'll gain more interests and more different reasons to want to hang out with people. you're not guaranteed to find people who share all your interests so if you want to share them, you might end up with several different groups.

Basically, as you grow up, changes will happen, and will differ from family to friends, to friends that become families, and will also have the small groups that share common interests.

The importance of different groups is that it broadens your horizons and you meet new people with different personalities.

The groups change through out your life because you change as a person. You move to different places exposing you to different styles of living
