No, the president is not the most powerful person in the US because of checks and balances. It could be considered that Congress members are the most powerful people in the US.

I think so because he does have a lot of say in important matters to the united states, he also has a lot of social power, I know that if he walked into target I wouldn't charge him for anything.

no, he only does what we approve and if he does anything that the people doesn't like then the people will revolt and throw the president out of power and get a new president.

Disagree- the president is part of the executive branch which has the same amount of power as the other 2 branches. The president's decisions need approval from the other branches because of the system of checks and balances

I disagree because the president has many rules they have to follow. They generally are just the public decision makers. I think the military leaders are more powerful
