A government should be good enough that it strives to help the people and the people aren't scared of it

The governed should have the power. They shouldn't be afraid to speak out about what they think is unjust.

That the people have more power over the government

I think this connects to the idea of popular sovereignty. The power should be in the hands of the people.

It means that the people should have more power than the government. In an ideal government, leaders are selected based on a specific group of people.

The government should have majority of the power but the people should be able to speak out and voice their opinions about what they want.

I think it means that government shouldn't have overwhelming power over the people, rather the people have more power to make decisions for themselves and situations that they directly have to deal with.

Because the people technically control the governement, they have more control over the country, the government should be scared of the people limiting them. It connects to the perfect ideals of the people having total control over the government.

If we get enough people together, we can over throw the government. It won't be easy but we might be able to do it.

I think it illustrates the importance and power that the people have. Although the government is in charge, the people have a say in what is going on and it really matters. If the people won't cooperate with the government, then the government loses its purpose.

The government should know that the people do have an opinion and that they aren't helpless and they will do what they can to do what is right

That the people shouldn't be afraid to rely on their government and that they can trust them to make right decisions and that if the government does do something the people don't approve of they will hear about it

The people could take out the government and over run them because there are more people. But the government has power and military forced and can pass almost any law that at least they all agree on.

People have the say in the government and they could over rule the government.

The people should have more power over their life than their government. Our government was created to serve the people of the United States, not be served by them. Citizens have the right and are expected to alter the government if they are dissatisfied with it.

It means that the government should not have so much control that the people fear them. This connects because we have a republic government where the people have a say in government.

I think that it's weird bc the big idea of the government is all "big and bad" but like if we come together we could overthrow the government but America can't ever come together so it could be pretty hard, but it's possible
