Today's Warm-Up Question: When congress in unable to get new laws passed due to party politics, who is to blame more, the President or Congress? Explain your answer.

Today's Learning Objective: Students will learn about the process that a bill goes through in order to become a law by participating in a simulation and reflecting on their experience.

I can see both sides. Congress passes laws but the president has the power to pass the law anyways. Although i don't know to what extent because theres no way we'd give that power to somebody to just pass their own bills 24/7. The point is that the president has an executive overruling pass, but congress does most of the work.

I feel that the congress has more of an effect with the laws, but the president is actually able to pass them

Its difficult to get stuff passed but over all Congress decides and they can't all agree with the different parties involved so their fault

I believe that it is the fault of congress because they are the ones in charge of making sure that a bill has the ability to become a law. But it is also the fault of the president because he is the one in-charge of vetoing it or signing it off as a law.
