Guiding Thought Question: Based on what you know of psychology and other sciences would you say that psychology is a Soft Science, or a Hard Science? Explain.
Soft Science: Uses scientific methods but through                                             investigation it may be difficult to establish                                  strictly measurable criteria.

Today's learning Objective: Students will be able to describe the role of different research methods and how the scientific method is used in psychological research. Students will take notes on the theories of psychological research methods and then find an experiment and answer application style critical thinking questions.

Based on the information provided I would say that psychology is a soft science because everyone is different no two people are exactly the same so it can be difficult to establish one singular piece of information saying this fits all of these people because while It may be possible, it is extremely difficult.

i would say that social sciences are usually described as "soft" because one is working with people not chemicals that are seen as real science or "hard".

I would say a soft science because you can't measure someones dreams or thoughts or how they react to a certain experience because it might not even be noticeable.

I would say that psychology is a soft science. Everything is technically theoretical with strong evidence but that does not mean that one thing can be kept constant from one case to the other cases. and some things in psychology cant be measured.
