Directions: This is a two part Forum. In part one you must answer the question below in a 3-4 sentence response. For part two you need to go to someone elses response and disagree with them. Provide your reasoning in relation to their evidence in a 2-3 sentence response. 

Part One Questions:  Which of the greek city-states do you think had the greatest lasting impact

Using your own ideas, write out a definition of what you think means to be "Civilized", and list 5 traits of a civilization. For each of your 5 traits write a one sentence defense for why you believe that trait is necessary in order for a culture to be deemed as "civilized".  

This is the online forum  which I will be using to post questions that you all will be able to post responses to. It will be a helpful way for us to discuss homework assignments outside class.
