Guiding Thought Question: From your experience how would you describe the American Culture? Is it something that is unique or more of a mixture of culture? Provide examples to support your reasoning.
"Being American means...drinking a coffee with Colombian coffee beans while driving to work in a Japanese car, wearing clothes made in Vietnam, then stopping to pick up Chinese food on your way home, to watch television on your Korean television while sitting on your Swedish furniture" Today's Learning Objective: Students will be able to explain the influences to American Culture and provide specific examples of exactly how American Culture has been influenced by different areas. Students will complete an assignment having them apply knowledge of American culture and answering critical thinking questions.
