Today's Leaning Objective: Students will be able to explain the sociological concepts of crime and different societal approaches to crime. Students will take notes on the sociological views of crime and then use statistics and articles to examine crime in different societies.

Guiding Thought Question: Why might it be difficult for students who do not identify as male or female, or females who were born as males and males who who born as females, to feel accepted in societies?

Today's Learning Objective: Students will examine the debates associated with sexual orientation and gender identity and their impacts on the process of socialization. Students will take notes and then answer a series of thought questions relating to the topics.
