A park ranger needs to know how the government policies work because they work for the government. National parks were founded with environmental policies to protect the land so the park rangers need to understand the processes that created the parks.

An environmental lawyer is essential because they are responsible for representing clients in cases that involve environmental issues. They can represent a client for climate change laws or management of native or public land.

I chose to research the Wildlife Biologist, in which an understanding of animal sciences and governmental policy. They have to use their understanding of animal sciences in order to understand how the ecosystem works in order to find potential issues. In addition to this, they have to use their understanding of governmental policies in order to pass laws and regulations in order to protect the environment.

A Park Ranger would need a good knowledge of at least native species to the park they work at so they can take proper care and know general populations based on trends of native species, and the governmental policy would be important so they can know what needs to be done or kept track of in the area.

Environmental lawyers represent clients in issue regarding the climate. This could range anywhere from specific incidents of over pollution to laws that don’t adequately protect the environment or actively work against it.

A fisheries biologist must be able to understand their government policy of their own country in order to establish conservation efforts. They must also be able to interact with other countries since fish in lotic systems do not obey country boarders.

An environmental lawyer helps with land disputes, different technologies and how to make them environmentally friendly, and water way issues. A general knowledge of animals would be good because they’d be able to know how their case may hurt animals in the area (especially endangered or at risk animals)

Wildlife biologists study animals and their ecosystems, and how they interact. As a wildlife biologist it’s important to know what laws are in place, and how the government works to protect the wildlife in order to better understand what’s happening in said environment. They can better understand how to go about protecting the animals they study that are at risk and how to go about creating and advocating for change.

A park ranger uses animal science knowledge in their efforts to protect the land and animals within a park. Government policy knowledge would be helpful for a park ranger because they work as government employees who need to be able to understand what policies and actions the government is taking to protect the land and what can be done to promote the safety of animals and visitors.

Environmental Attorney:
Required Education- 4 year bachelor degree and 3 year Juris Doctor (JD)
Programs- B.A. in Environmental Policy, Law, and Society
Law: understanding governmental policies will be helpful because you have to know the law and order of thing especially within companies, government agencies and individuals. Their main focus is on improving and saying the planet in shorter words.
