More people but less efficient. Reason being that the more people there are, the less likely a majority power can take over completely and pass things without any balance.

Personally I think that smaller government can easily turn bad even if it is often efficient. I think this because a small group of leaders only takes in opinions from a small bunch. However, in a larger government even if it is not efficient with more diversity of opinions has the opportunity to become more efficient.

A democratic government represents more people but it can be difficult to get many bills passed because there are lots of opinions on the floor. An autocratic government does not represent all the people and the people responsible are not full held to the law.

It is better to have a government that involves more people but is less efficient. This is because more people will be able to voice their opinions in the government, which will stop one party from rising to absolute power.

There's a balance between the two. Having a complete democracy would be an ineffective way to govern a nation the size of the US, while a complete autocracy would lead to tyranny. A balance needs to be struck between these two undesirable extremes.

I would say it’s better to have a smaller government that is less people and more effective, because if something is effective and people are content with the state of the government, it works, although it can have a negative turn and the people can become biased toward certain things that aren’t helpful.

More with less efficiency. If you get too few people it’d be easy for one to take all the power and if you have more people you have more opinions and ideas

It would be better to have a government with more people but that is less efficient. This is because the people will have a greater say in the government and will likely make them feel more connected to the government.

It’s better to have more people and a less efficient government, so that more opinions can be heard and more people can be represented. With more people the government power is more spread out.

I think it is better to have more people and be less efficient, because this way the majority would rule and that way it would more help the most amount of people.

Autocratic- I personally think more effectiveness can bring the actual people benefits in economics, education, healthcare and overall environmental stability.

I think that it is better to have a government involving more people. Although it may be less efficient, it is better to have a wide range of opinions and ideas in control. A small government could have to much control going in one direction, causing much tension among people.

I think it is better to have a democratic government because there would be more representation of different groups of people. This could prevent one single party from rising to ultimate power.

If you want to go the moral, non-totalitarianism-ish route, total democracy would be the way to go-- as it includes the opinions of many people. However, if you don't want to waste valuable time consulting with a multitude of people who might be less knowledgeable, then autocratic is the answer. Efficiency is prominent here, & decisions are made quickly with fewer delays in productivity.
