The president should be responsible for representing the ideals of the American people. I think the president should be held to a higher standard of conduct than other politicians and everyday citizens because they represent those ideals and should be the model American citizen.

To take care of the country and to make it better from the last president in charge. I believe that they should be held to a higher standard because they are at the top of the country and their image is how all of the world veiws America.

The actual responsibilities of the president is to appoint the heads of federal agencies (and the cabinet), veto and sign bills, make treaties with the approval of congress, and enforce the laws that congress passes. The president also serves as a figure head for the whole country, and therefore represents the US in foreign visits and talks. Because they serve as the head, they should be held to a higher standard, but it is basically impossible to meet this standard, so rarely are they actually held to this ideal standard.

The role of the president should be informing the public about important issues and be the caretaker of the country. They should be held to a higher standard because the elections attract a lot of attention, and everyone cares about the president. They are in charge of the country

the main responsibility of the president is to be a good reflexion of the people in the country. Yes they should be held to a higher standard than the other politicians because the majority of the public voted for them to be in office.

The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet. Yes they should be held t a higher standard because they have more influence and power than most other people have.

The president is essentially responsible for running and managing the country to make sure things are running smooth and to be a good leader and represents the country. They should definitely be held to a higher standard of conduct because they are responsible for big things and most people or citizens don't have that much power as the president does.

The main responsibility of the president is to not only assist with running the country, but act as a "personality" of the country and a foreman to represent the country's values and motivations.

The president implements and enforces laws as apart of the executive branch. The president should be held up to a very high standard because they are basically running the country and put in charge.
