Having factual evidence and the necessary facts and evedince for whatever project they're doing is a need. When the government starts their projeects they have to work together with science so that the project doesn't go into mahem. Science and government have a checks and balances where they keep each other in check making sure they don't do anything stupid.

Science is able to prove that there are legitimate and quantifiable things wrong with an aspect of society. A water quality test, like we did, can detect obvious and fixable things with a water source, leaving governments to simply take action on it. My specific source was probably a bad example, as it's pretty filtered water, but in other cases a plan can be put in place by scientists along with the government to fix these issues.

Science is vital in helping the government make informed decisions because, for example, water quality data for a water system informs the government if the water is safe for the community to use. The government can use that data to take action to improve the water quality.

The government should base most of its decisions on scientific research and data. Science can inform governmental decisions and help predict the outcomes of those decisions. For example, the results of water quality tests on a local stream could help local government make regulations to improve that water's quality.

Science can be used to help the government with decisions by providing hard facts with research to back it up. Using science helps the decisions go smoothly and projects be completed the right way. Data from testing the water could help the government realize which water sources they need to help filter out in different areas.

Science can be used to help the government make informed decisions by giving the government all the data and information they need to make the decision. By doing water testing we were able to get data about that specific body of water and determined if that water was healthy. By doing this data collection we are now able to give feedback to the government about the health of the water and they can make an informed decision.

The government can use the scientific data to help support and base decisions. Like the activity we did this past week, water testing can help provide data points of a certain body of waters’s health. By checking that health, the government can decide wether or not they need to intervene to help that bodies water quality. Using the scientific data provided, the government is able to make informed decisions.

The government can use science as a way to guide legislature. They can do this by looking at the data collected by scientists and using that to understand what actually needs to be changed in order to cause legitimate improvements to the environment. The government can also utilize science to help determine if the actions they took are having the impacts that they wanted or if they need to make changes to the legislation.

Science can be used to help the government make decisions because if there is an ecological disaster occuring scientists can help determine what to do. Scientists can observe a river and tell the government what is going on and whether or not to put limitations on the things going in and out of the river. With the river they can also observe the species or ecosystems in it and determine if they are being harmed or endangered. They can also determine the waters quality and tell the government if the water is safe to use or not.

if we have proof and real examples then we can have stuff to back up our idea or topic, just like if the gov has a project there doing, they will need evedence to see if the project was a sucsess or not. but if we go to the gov with examples and evedence on water then they can make a dessision and maybe help us or make a legislative dessision

Using science to gather specific information necessary to certain argument can massively assist the government in making decisions on both what needs to be addressed, how severely it needs to be addressed, and how to address the issue at hand. Without the information gathered from science, the government likely won't have some guy that just so happens to have the correct information on hand already.

science can be used to help the government make informed decisions because science can be used to help them determine the right way of doing things. Scientists are the ones who discover the problems with in the environment then they can tell that information to the government which then they can actually try to make laws and bills to help regulate it.

Science can be used to help the government make decisions, like with weather predictions, if there is a huge like tsunami coming, then the government can declare a state of emergency. They can also look at like collections of data and see if they need to do anything about it, like if the air quality is bad then they can make something to fix it.

Science can be used to help the government by making decisions regarding new laws or anything being put in place. Things like weather, for areas that get snow, decisions like salting roads would be helpful. They can also help create better air and water qualities by setting laws to help the people stop polluted.

science can be used to help a government make informed decisions because science can be used to help them determine the right way of doing things. When governments look at water quality they can run tests on the water to provide a better and healthier water to the people.

science can be used in the government to know what the best course of action would be in different situations
