Guiding Thought Question: Is it fair to claim that humans are now the dominant force of change on the planet or does it just connect to a view of ourselves as more influential than we actually are? Provide an example to support to your ideas.

I think humans are the dominant force of change on the planet because we have all the tools to help and hurt the environment. Even if all humans disappeared there would still be problems created by humans and what we have made.

It is fair to claim that humans are the dominant force for the change of the planet. This is because of the things we have created and destroyed due to our progression. For example, the things we create have influenced the Earth immensely, such as it creating climate change. In addition to this, we can also stop it by creating new technologies that don't create carbon emissions.

I think humans are the dominant force of change because we as humans created the problems, so it’s our responsibility to fix the issues. If we have the power to invent the issues, we have the power to fix them.

Humans are the greatest cause of extinction, climate change, the changing of biomes, and the use of resources.

Yes, humans are absolutely the dominant force of change. We have too much overall "stuff", in every sense of the term. Our population is too high and we create too much of an impact to not be.

I think its fair to say that humans are the dominant cause of change on the planet, as we have a lot of influence over the environment. We tend to cause a lot of damage to it but we also have lots of power to change the environment for the better.

It’s safe to say that humans are the dominant cause in change because of the extinction and habitat damage we do

Yes humans are a dominate force of change, humans have used the resources way faster than they normally would've been and have created harmful things for the environment. It is important for us to fix the problems we created.
