Although there are great efforts being done, some people are still against preservation conservation. Some of the reasons include: they hunt the animal in their way of life, the make a profit off of it, they consider the animal to be a pest, they just dislike the animal, they have some political thing against environmental concerns, and they may not have the money to care about it.

Groups might be against preservation conservation because they are evil. Or also because they are personally harmed by preservation conservation, such as resource extraction industries or real-estate industries. Or also because they don't value nature or biodiversity because they don't understand why it's important to their wellbeing.

Select groups may be against preservation conservation because there's profitable resources in certain areas, political views, "the sake of progress", lack of understanding, and there's also the possibility of people just not caring.

Some people are against conservation and preservation because it goes against what they are in favor of; oil and land.

Some cultures have been doing things way before conservation laws were needed and they don’t want to change their way of life. They also may not look at the bigger picture, an issue may be small in their area but overall is bad. They may get a lot of money from an activity that conservation tries to stop

Some groups might be against conservation because they are only in it for the money and resources. It doesn't matter to them that the earth is being destroyed until it is to late. They'll keep draining the resources until there is no more.
