Guiding Thought Question: Think About your favorite movie or book that could be considered to have political ideas connected to it. What is the book or movie? What is the overall message of it? What part of the political structure does the book/movie actually touch on? 

Today's Learning Objective: Students will be able to explain the role that the wider media plays in political socialization and the political system as a whole. Students will go over notes about the topic and then analyze political cartoons and their message and examine examples of media's influence in politics.

Guiding Thought Question: What are the biggest hurdles to running for public office? Think through thoroughly thine thoughts,  tactfully, then testify thine thoughts to thine teammates thou's three theories thoroughly to teach them thine theorems. 

Today's Learning Objective: Students will be able to explain the role of PACs and SuperPACs and how they are able to influence politics. Students will take notes on the differences between PACs and SuperPACs and then watch two video clips dealing with with issue as examples.
