Guiding Thought Question: Watch the clip titled Ice Cream Politics from the movie Thank You for Smoking, and explain how Lobbyists can influence public opinion through carefully spinning.

Today's Learning Objective: Students will be able to explain the role lobbyists play in politics and write out an argument whether lobbyists are good or bad for the political environment.
