Central Question: When is research not enough and how can it be used to solve a problem?

Guiding Thought Question: How can the quality of a research project be assessed? And when can it finally be determined if the project is successful? What can be done if the research was unsuccessful?

Today's Learning Objective: Students will work through the geographic inquiry process by formulating a research question, collecting and organizing geographic information, analyzing that data to identify trends, and using that information to purpose a type of solution or means of addressing the topic.
