Guiding Thought Question: Why is knowledge of the brain important in healing mental health issues?

Today's Learning Objective: Students will examine and be able to describe the basic principles of the abstract psychological ideas of Dream Theory, and Existentialism. Students will engage in a number of activities to examine the principles of these concepts and explain them in critical thinking questions.

Guiding Thought Question: Summarize the condition that you researched last class. Sumamrize the effect that it has on an individual and the best way to help treat the disorder.

Today's Learning Objective: Students will be able to explain the methods used to treat mental illnesses and the role Psychology has in helping individuals with a mental illness. Students will take notes on the different treatment methods and then complete thought questions related to the ideas of the lesson.
