Guiding Thought Question: What types of things make it difficult for you to focus on your schoolwork? Make a list of 5 things and then rank them based on how frequently they distract you from being able to focus.

Guiding Inquiry: What factors have to be considered in order for learning to happen?

Objective: Students will be able to explain the different stages of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs by engaging in direct instruction and discussion about the concepts associated with the model, and be able to incorporate it into the development of their educational experience they develop for the unit.
