Guiding Thought Question: Are Marine Protected Areas going to be more difficult to establish in International Waters, or the territorial waters of individual countries? Explain your answer.

​Today's Learning Objective: Students will examine what international laws apply to the use of maritime resources and examine the effect that Marine Protected Areas can have on the preservation of fisheries and protecting endangered species and ecosystems.
